Hi, I’m Jose — and I believe every child deserves to experience the wonder of magic!
For over 35 years, I’ve been performing fun, interactive, and hilarious magic shows for kids and families. My goal is simple:

How much time do you need to set up?
Jose arrives about 35 minutes before the show to set up his props and equipment. If possible, it’s best to keep the kids in another room or engaged in an activity during setup — that way, the secrets behind the magic stay hidden until the big reveal!
Does the entertainer need a reserved parking spot?
No need to worry about saving a space! Jose doesn’t require a reserved parking spot and is happy to park wherever is available nearby. He’ll always make sure to arrive on time and ready to bring the fun.
How much space does Jose need to perform?
Jose doesn’t need a huge stage to work his magic! A cozy area about 5 feet across is usually enough. He prefers having a wall behind him — preferably without mirrors — with the kids sitting on the floor in a semi-circle in front. Living rooms, family rooms, or open spaces by a fireplace, window, or TV work perfectly.
When is the best time for Jose to perform at the party?
This is one of the most common questions — and the answer can depend on your event. Generally, the best time is after the food and games, but before the cake and presents. This timing helps ensure that even kids who arrive late or need to leave early still get to enjoy the full show without missing out on the fun!
Can other party activities interfere with the show?
They can. Things like background music, adults talking loudly, or noisy party blowers can make it harder for kids to focus.
It helps a lot if food isn’t served during the show, and if other toys or distractions are put aside. A quiet space with parents watching along makes the performance even more magical!
What if a child gets too excited or disruptive during the show?
At the start of the show, Jose gives the kids a fun little talk about how to behave and enjoy the magic — and that works beautifully, 99% of the time.
However, if a child does get a bit too excited or disruptive, it’s best for the host or a parent to gently step in and speak with them. Since it’s not appropriate for the magician to discipline children, your help ensures the show runs smoothly for everyone. This situation is rare, but we like to mention it just in case!
How does the weather affect the show?
Whenever possible, we recommend holding the party indoors for everyone’s comfort. If it must be outdoors, please plan ahead: on hot days, kids might tire quickly, so the performer may adjust the pace of the show. Since some costumes can be quite warm, providing shade is greatly appreciated.
On chilly days, a little extra warmth goes a long way — especially if the costume offers little insulation. And if rain is in the forecast, have a backup plan, like an indoor space or a tent with heaters.
For indoor parties, try to arrange the furniture to create as much open space as possible.
Can the adults watch the show too?
Absolutely — we love when adults join in on the fun! Your presence helps create a lively and supportive atmosphere.
For children under 4, feel free to sit with them on the floor. Older kids often engage more when their parents are nearby but not sitting right next to them, so we recommend letting the kids sit on the floor in a semi-circle while adults relax on the sofas and chairs.
We also ask that at least two adults stay in the room as chaperones during the performance.
Can the performer accommodate special requests?
We’re happy to do our best to honor your special requests — like taking photos or adding a personal touch to the show. That said, it’s helpful to give the performer as much flexibility as possible so they can create the best experience for your party.
If you have specific requests, please let the entertainer know at the beginning of the performance so they can plan and manage the time accordingly.
Do you use live animals in your show?
Yes — Jose’s show features a real, live bunny that kids absolutely love! Seeing the bunny appear is always one of the highlights of the performance and makes the magic even more memorable.
One quick note: if you have pets at home, especially dogs, please keep them out of the performance area. As much as everyone loves a cute puppy, they can sometimes distract from the show and compete for attention — and we want the bunny to shine as the star of the moment!
What is your cancellation policy?
Once you’ve booked a time and date, you’ve entered into a verbal agreement. If you need to cancel, the following terms apply:

🚨 More than 15 days’ notice: No penalty (though we always appreciate it if you choose to reschedule!)

🚨 Less than 15 days’ notice → HKD $300 cancellation fee.

🚨 Less than 5 days’ notice: → Only the deposit (HKD $1,000) is forfeited.

🚨 Christmas season (Nov 15 – Jan 5): Cancellations during this busy time require at least 30 days’ notice, or full payment is due.
We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly — if that happens, just reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to work with you!

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes — a deposit is required to secure your date:

🎈 For birthday parties: HKD $1,000 deposit

🎪 For fairs, festivals, corporate events, multiple parties, or holiday shows: 50% deposit
Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 15 days before your event date.
However, for shows booked during the busy holiday season (Nov. 15 – Jan. 5), deposits are non-refundable.

Should I tip the performer?
Tipping is completely optional — there’s absolutely no obligation. That said, if you feel the performance was exceptional and would like to show your appreciation with a tip, it’s always gratefully received and very much appreciated! 😊
